IBM (R) i Access for Windows is a Windows-based client suite from IBM that connects PCs to IBM i servers (formerly AS/400, iSeries, System i). It provides secure access to applications, data, and system management functions, helping administrators, developers, and end users work efficiently with IBM i resources.

Key capabilities:

• 5250 terminal emulation for interactive sessions, with printer emulation and TLS support
• Database connectivity to Db2 for i via ODBC, OLE DB, and a .NET provider
• Data Transfer tools to move data between IBM i files and PC formats (such as CSV and Excel)
• iSeries Navigator for system configuration and administration (users, jobs, output queues, networking, security, and performance)
• Integrated File System access and Windows drive mapping through IBM i NetServer
• Remote command execution, messaging, and data queue utilities for automation
• Host print transform and output management for IBM i spooled files
